2018 Alberta Winter Games - Athlete information
Zone 2 Coaches - U14B to U19A,
Ringette Alberta and Zone 2 invites all age-eligible athletes to try out for a once in a lifetime opportunity to participate in the Alberta Winter Games. The 2018 Games will be held in Fort McMurray, February 16-19 and will feature 22 Sporting Events represented by the eight different regional zones.
The Zone 2 AWG Committee is asking you to communicate these details to your age eligible athletes on your team as the planning and preparation is now getting up to full speed. The latest development is the announcement of Gareth McCullough as the Head Coach of the team that will travelling up to Ft. Mac, congratulations to Gareth.

Athletes age 13-16 as of December 31, 2017
Important Dates:
1. Athlete registration - November 1st. see link - http://www.ringettealberta.
-Ringette AB granted an extension from October 15, 2017
2. Ice evaluations times
a. Sunday, November 12th at 8pm-9pm in Strathmore
b. Sunday, November 19th
PLEASE NOTE - THE TWO (2) ICE SESSIONS ON NOV 19TH ARE HIGH RECOMMENDED TO ATTEND. This will provide evaluators, coaching staff and the AWG Committee the best opportunity to have all eligible athletes in attendance in accordance to the 123 League Schedule.
c. Sunday, November 26th at 8pm-9pm in Strathmore
d. If Necessary, a fifth (5) ice slot may be needed. The AWG Coaching Staff and the AWG Committee will communicate in an appropriate time frame if needed.
